These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of covdbg software and services provided by Liasoft GmbH. By using our services, you agree to these Terms.

License Grant

Subject to these Terms and payment of applicable fees, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use covdbg software in accordance with your license tier (Open Source, Home or Commercial).

Acceptable Use

You agree to use our services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You may not:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software
  • Remove or alter any proprietary notices
  • Use the software to develop competing products
  • Share license keys or circumvent licensing restrictions
  • Use the software in violation of any applicable laws

Intellectual Property

covdbg and all related intellectual property remain the exclusive property of Liasoft GmbH. Your license does not grant ownership of any intellectual property rights.

Payment Terms

Home and Commercial licenses are sold as perpetual licenses with one year of maintenance included. You can use any covdbg build with a timestamp within your maintenance period. Maintenance can be renewed annually or purchased as an auto-renewing subscription for convenience.

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LIASOFT GMBH SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SOFTWARE.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to our services immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or us.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Germany.
